INITE Founding Members Sign Resolution to Dissolve Party

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - Following the exclusion of former senator Joseph Lambert from the INITE political party, representatives of four of the six founding parties, including Lambert signed a resolution to dissolve the party adding that it is now prohibited for any organization, individual or entity to use the party's name.
The resolution dated May 31, 2012, said that the organization was created by six organizations and was left with five after the removal of the Louvri Barye Party. The resolution states that "The Platform called INITE, created by six political groups, including four duly represented, is declared dissolved by a two-thirds majority of its founding members."
The resolution states its defense "under penalty of both civil and criminal penalties, for any party, any organization, any group, any person or entity to use regardless the INITE name, its logo, its acronym, for its own standard, etc ... for any purpose whatsoever," added the signatories of the resolution.

The four signatories designated former Senator Joseph Lambert as the "Liquidating Agent" who will have the mission to ensure, within a period not to exceed three (3) months that "the normality of the conduct of the liquidation" under Article 8 of the Articles of the Platform.
The signatories of the resolution are: Jean Marie Claude Germain (National Christian Union for the Reconstruction of Haiti, UNCRH) Luc Fleurinor (Independent Movement for National Reconstruction, MIRN) Joseph Lambert (Konbit Sides) and Michel ClÃ©riÃ© (Gathering Political Forces of the Grande-Anse, RAFOPOGA).
The former Senators Joseph Lambert and KÃ©ly C. Bastien had protested against their exclusion from the party two weesk ago by the decision of the Executive Committee on May 25, 2012.
The two former senators were accused of positions contrary to those of the organization, particularly with regard to their support told President Michel Joseph Martelly.
